In the game of Red Dog, number cards count as their
face value (two thru ten), Jack is 11, Queen is 12, King is 13 and
Ace is 14 and the suits are irrelevant. The first thing that you
need to do is place your bet. The coin size ranges from one dollar
to one hundred dollars with a max bet of three hundred dollars.
Next, click the “Deal” button. Two cards are dealt, in front of the
dealer, face up. If the cards are in order (i.e. a two and a three),
the hand is a push and your bet is returned to you. If the cards are
the same rank, a third card is drawn. If that, too, is equal in rank
to the others, you win 11 to 1, any other card is a push. If the two
cards are neither consecutive nor equal, the spread is established.
The spread is the number of card values between the two cards.
For example – 2 and 4 have a spread of 1; 6 and a Queen have a
spread of 5 (The payout for each spread is listed below). At this
point in the game, you have the option to double your bet or call
the bet. A third card is dealt and if it falls between the two
cards, you win according to the payout table. If it matches one of
the two cards or is outside the spread, you lose. Click “New Game”
if you wish to play again. Place a bet as described above, or click
“Rebet” to place the same bet again.
