Spanish Blackjack
Spanish Blackjack is a variation of Classic
Blackjack that is played with 8 unique decks of 48. To make each
deck of 52 a deck of 48, each of the 10 cards are removed from the
deck. As with other variations, each deck is re-shuffled after every
round. In Spanish Blackjack, you are only able to play one hand at a
time. The combinations that make up a 21 hand determine the Bonus
Payout and are described in the table below:

*Note* The Bonus for 3 sevens of the same suit when the
dealer has a 7 face-up does not apply after a Split. And bonus
payouts don’t apply if you get a Blackjack or after you Double Down.
Other basic rules of Spanish Blackjack are listed
below:
1. This variation of Blackjack is an American “Hole
Card” Game, which means that the dealer must check their hand for a
Blackjack when they are dealt an Ace or a Face Card.
2.
Spanish Blackjack allows you to take up to 9 cards in addition to
your original hand as long as the combined value does not go over
21. If you manage to draw all 9 additional cards without busting,
your hand automatically stands and it is the dealer’s turn.
3. The dealer must always hit on any 17
4. Blackjack
pays 3 to 2
5. If both you and the dealer have Blackjack, you
win over the dealer. Any other tie situation is considered a “Push”
and your bet is returned.
6. Bonuses don’t apply after a
Double Down
7. As long as your two cards are of the same
numerical value, you may split them
8. Any “Blackjack” after
a Split is not considered an actual Blackjack.
9. You are
allowed to split up to three times per hand, and in Spanish
Blackjack, you ARE allowed to re-split Aces.
